HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) has reported a strong performance in Q2 FY25, with significant growth across key financial metrics. The company posted a net profit of ₹576.88 crore, reflecting a robust 31.8% YoY increase from ₹437.56 crore in Q2 FY24. This growth was driven by strong revenue generation and effective cost management.

Key Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations: ₹887.21 crore, up by 37.9% YoY from ₹643.08 crore in Q2 FY23.
  • Total income: ₹1,057.82 crore, marking a 38.2% YoY rise from ₹765.22 crore in the same period last year.
  • Profit after tax (PAT): ₹576.88 crore, a 31.8% YoY growth compared to ₹437.56 crore in Q2 FY23.

HDFC AMC’s revenue from operations grew impressively by 37.9%, reaching ₹887.21 crore, supported by increased market activity and better management of its assets. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,057.82 crore, marking a 38.2% year-on-year rise.

Despite the rise in employee benefit expenses to ₹95.69 crore (up 3% YoY), HDFC AMC maintained control over other operational costs, keeping total expenses at ₹199.14 crore, a modest 13.1% increase YoY. The company’s tax expenses also rose significantly to ₹281.80 crore, reflecting a substantial 85.9% increase from the previous year.

The company’s ability to maintain strong profit margins and revenue growth despite rising costs showcases its efficiency in managing resources and capturing growth opportunities in the market.
