Shares of KPI Green Energy Ltd rose by 1.60% to ₹810.90 as of 11:02 AM after the company announced the signing of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). The agreements cover a total of 620MWAC (917MWDC) for grid-connected solar and hybrid renewable energy (RE) projects.

Project Breakdown:

  • 250 MWAC (275MWDC) Solar Photovoltaic Power Project:
    This project is part of GUVNL’s 500 MW Solar (Phase-XXIV) initiative, with the option to expand by an additional 500 MW without energy storage.
  • 370 MWAC (642MWDC) Hybrid RE Power Project:
    Awarded under GUVNL’s 500 MW Hybrid RE (Phase-II) bidding process, this project also includes a greenshoe option for a 500 MW capacity expansion.

These projects signify a key milestone in KPI Green Energy’s strategy to support India’s renewable energy transition, aligning with the company’s goal to achieve 10 GW capacity by 2030.
