VA Tech WABAG (WABAG) shares jumped more than 3% to hit a 52-week hight of Rs 1,730.00 in morning trade after the company bagged huge order worth Rs 1,000 crore to build a 100 million liters per day (MLD) sea water desalination plant for Indosol Solar’s Solar PV manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The project will last 38 months and will cover all aspects of engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract.
VA Tech Wabag’s stock opened at Rs 1,680.90, reaching a day high of Rs 1,730.00 and a low of Rs 1,680.90.
As of 9:25 am, Wabag shares were trading 2.98% higher at Rs 1,721.85 on the NSE.
