Inshallah was one of the most extensively talked about movie projects several years back. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was originally planning to direct the movie that starred Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. The movie’s plot was to revolve around the romance story of two lovers with a major age disparity. However, the movie never materialized into existence.
Alia later went on to collaborate with Bhansali for Gangubai Kathiawadi and will be seen in his upcoming movie Love & War. During a recent interview with The Lallantop, the actress was inquired about the rumors of Salman being replaced in Inshallah.
“Whatever Sanjay sir decided will be the best for the film,” stated Alia, while describing the movie as a “lovely” love story.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia has reportedly registered her worst openings in 10 years with her movie Jigra. She will soon start shooting for Love & War, which also features Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, Salman is working on his upcoming action thriller Sikander, wherein he will be paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna.
On the personal front, Salman has been tensed due to the passing away of his politician friend Baba Siddique. The latter was shot dead, the responsibility for the same has been claimed by Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
