NCP chief Sharad Pawar has expressed serious concerns about the law and order situation in Maharashtra following the shooting of former minister Baba Siddique in Mumbai. In a tweet, Pawar highlighted the alarming state of affairs, stating, [transalation] ‘The deteriorating law and order in the state is worrisome. He further added that the government must take accountability for the situation and resign if they cannot provide safety. Pawar also extended his heartfelt condolences to Baba Siddique’s family.
