Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has released its consolidated sales report for September 2024, showcasing robust performance across multiple product segments. The company reported significant growth in sales volumes for various products, including stainless steel, aluminium foil, speciality alloys, carbon steel, sponge iron, and pellets.

  • Stainless Steel: Sales volumes surged by 90% year-over-year (YoY) to 8,175 metric tonnes (MT), while average realisation increased by 18% to ₹1,26,795 per MT.
  • Aluminium Foil: Sales increased by 79% YoY to 1,975 MT, with a 10% increase in realisation to ₹3,52,005 per MT.
  • Speciality Alloys: Sales grew by 12% YoY to 15,257 MT, while average realisation rose by 4% to ₹1,02,779 per MT.
  • Carbon Steel: Sales volumes increased by 49% YoY to 15,151 MT, though realisation decreased by 13% to ₹42,362 per MT.
  • Sponge Iron: Sales rose by 29% YoY to 85,098 MT, while realisation dropped by 19% to ₹24,140 per MT.
  • Pellets: Sales volumes grew by 11% YoY to 91,779 MT, while realisation decreased by 14% to ₹7,733 per MT.

The company also noted successful sales of cold rolled coil (CRC) from its Cold Rolling Mill, which is currently undergoing a trial run. Shyam Metalics continues to maintain a diversified product mix, which has contributed to its consistent profitability since 2005.
