Triumph has finally unveiled the TF 450-RC, a 450cc motocross bike manufactured in partnership with motocross icon Ricky Carmichael, after weeks of anticipation. This release follows the debut of their 250cc motocross bike last year, which was aimed at both racers and regular riders.
Triumph TF 450-RC features
A 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with titanium valves forged aluminium pistons and carbon rockers power the TF 450-RC. These elements ensure strength and endurance at high speeds in addition to increasing performance by reducing friction and increasing efficiency.
The bike has a premium throttle body and an advanced intake system that is controlled by the Athena engine management system. Triumph included KYB AOS coil forks with an Air-Oil Separation system for suspension, which offers more even and seamless damping on diverse terrains. The rear shock is three-way adjustable, allowing for fine-tuning of compression, rebound and preload.
The Triumph TF 450-RC is priced at $10,995 (roughly Rs 9.23 lakh) in the United States and delivery will begin in February. The bike will not be released in India owing to a lack of market demand.
