Rajshree Polypack Limited (RPPL) has informed the National Stock Exchange of India about the addition of an annual capacity of 2,300 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) for manufacturing food packaging containers using the injection molding process. The company has now commenced commercial production for these products through its toll manufacturer, bringing the total installed capacity of injection molding products to 3,300 MTPA.
This move comes as part of the company’s expansion to enhance its production capabilities. The plant is located in Daman, and with the addition, the existing capacity utilization stands at 85%. The capacity increase is expected to cater to the growing demand for various food packaging solutions.
For further details, the company has submitted an official notice under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
