Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled the GSX-8R supersport in India, priced at ₹9.25 lakh. According to Suzuki, the GSX-8R is a practical, solid performer that is also easy for riders to handle

Suzuki GSX-8R features

With its rakish bodywork, air intakes up front and vertically stacked LED headlights, the GSX-8R sports a sporty look. The rear section is short and lifted up, revealing the seat rails, and the engine remains visible.

The motorbike is equipped with the same 776 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as its siblings, producing 78 Nm of peak torque at 6,800 rpm and 81 horsepower at 8,500 rpm.

Regarding bicycle parts, the GSX-8R is equipped with 17-inch cast aluminium wheels that are covered with Dunlop Roadsport 2 radial rubber. Next, there is a link-type monoshock at the back and a Showa separate function big-piston USD fork up front, coupled with a forged aluminium handlebar. Additionally, there is a lightweight aluminium swingarm. The Suzuki GSX-8R has a 240 mm disc in the back with a single-piston calliper and dual 310 mm discs up front with four-piston callipers.

The Suzuki GSX-8R is equipped with the company’s intelligent ride system, which includes ride-by-wire, ABS, low-rpm assist, three riding modes and four-step switchable traction control. Additionally, a 5-inch color TFT-LCD console is available.
