Star Cement North East, a subsidiary of Star Cement Limited, has been selected as the preferred bidder for six limestone blocks in Rajasthan, India. These blocks are situated in Beawer District and cover an area of 95.6823 hectares, containing an estimated 63.90 million tonnes of limestone. This acquisition could boost Star Cement’s raw material supply for its cement operations.
Int the exchange filing, the company shared, “Star Cement North East Limited, Subsidiary of the Company, declared as the preferred bidder for Limestone Block NB 04, NB 05, NB 06, NB 07, NB 08 and NB 11 N/V Nimbol, Tehsil – Jaitaram, Dist. Beawer, in the State of Rajasthan.”
