Cummins India Limited introduced the Retrofit Aftertreatment System (RAS), an innovative clean air solution designed for CPCBII and CPCBI gensets. The new system reduces emissions from genset exhaust by up to 90%, tackling pollutants such as Particulate Matter (PM), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Hydrocarbons (HC). This product allows customers to continue using their existing gensets while meeting the latest stringent emission regulations.
RAS is compact and designed to offer minimal operational and maintenance costs, making it a cost-effective solution for reducing emissions. The device is powered by Diesel Oxidation Catalyst and Particulate Filter technology and has been approved by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).
Pankaj Kapoor, Vice President – Distribution at Cummins India, said, “We are committed to helping our customers transition to cleaner technologies. The RAS provides a dependable solution to meet emission standards while maintaining low costs. Reducing the impacts of climate change remains one of our top priorities.”
This launch reflects Cummins India’s continued focus on sustainability and delivering innovative solutions for a cleaner and greener future.
