Ola Electric has recently launched its ‘Network Partner Program’ in India. The program aims to expand the network to smaller cities across the country in order to increase electric scooter adoption outside of major metropolitan areas. In order to increase its sales footprint across India, the firm has onboarded 625 partners under this program and Ola Electric also intends to have 1,000 partners ahead of the festive season this year. Furthermore, the firm states that by the end of 2025, it will have onboarded 10,000 partners in the sales and service.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and MD, Ola Electric, stated, “The Network Partner Program will further amplify the benefits of our D2C network as it requires limited capital investment from partners and can be scaled up really fast. While the company-owned stores will be the anchors of our sales and service network, this program will be instrumental in expanding the EV footprint deeper into the urban and rural markets.”

It is important to keep in mind that Ola Electric focused entirely on the D2C model alone from the start of its operations, delivering products directly to customers’ preferred locations and providing servicing there.
