JSW MG Motor India has unveiled an all-new retail channel named MG Select, which would focus on the brand’s more premium products.
Although the firm has not revealed which models would be sold through the MG Select channel, Gaurav Gupta, chief growth officer of MG Motor India, stated in a recent interview with Autocar India, “Our plan is to get going by Q1 2025. So, within about six months from now, we are going to be in the market with our first product as well as our facilities.”
The MG Select channel will be entirely dedicated to vehicles classified as NEVs (New energy vehicles), which includes EVs, PHEVs and hybrids. The company has announced that it will be launching four locally assembled products for the Select channel during the next two years.
In the initial phase, MG plans to launch 12 Select experience centers across the nation. More centers will be established slowly and eventually, Tier 2 cities will also be included.
