A home game for Club Brugge didn’t go as expected in their first Champions League game of 2024/25 season as Borussia Dortmund thrashed them by 3-0 to secure all the three points in the game. Dortmund showed an exceptional team performance and showed why they were the runners up in last year’s competition. Bynoe-Gittens scored two whereas Guirassy scored one for Dortmund in this game.
Club Brugge’s 2024/25 Champions League campaign got off to a rocky start as they suffered a heavy defeat at home against Borussia Dortmund. The German side displayed a commanding performance to secure all three points.
Dortmund’s intensity and cohesion were evident throughout the match, with standout performances from young winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who scored twice, and Serhou Guirassy, who added a third goal. Club Brugge struggled to cope with the visitors’ relentless pressing and sharp attacking moves, ultimately unable to mount a serious challenge.
