Ion Exchange (India) Limited has been awarded contracts worth approximately INR 161.19 crores from Adani Power Limited, as disclosed in a filing to the stock exchanges today.
The contracts are for providing water and environment management solutions for Adani Power’s power projects in Raipur and Raigarh. These solutions are for the process and utility requirements of two 800 MW units at each location.
The projects are to be completed within 18 months from their respective award dates. The work involves Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) for water and environment management systems.
Ion Exchange (India) Limited stated that these contracts do not fall under related party transactions, and neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in Adani Power Limited.
