Thomas Cook India, a leading travel services provider, and its group company, SOTC Travel, have entered into a strategic 24-month partnership with Malaysia Aviation Group, which operates Malaysia Airlines. This agreement aims to tap into the growing demand among Indian travelers for multiple holidays each year, providing a seamless travel experience to Malaysia and beyond.
The partnership, formalized in Kuala Lumpur, will enhance travel options for Indian tourists, with Malaysia Airlines offering extensive connectivity from India’s metro and regional markets. Through this collaboration, Thomas Cook and SOTC Travel will offer a range of packages, including group tours, customized holidays, and airfare-inclusive packages with Malaysia Airlines. These packages will not only promote Malaysia as a destination but also encourage stopover visits to other countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
With Malaysia being a visa-friendly destination for Indian travelers, this partnership is expected to significantly boost tourism. Thomas Cook and SOTC Travel aim to cater to a diverse range of Indian consumers, from major metros to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, by offering attractive travel deals and promotions.
