Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles recently released a new model based on the 42 motorbike. The new Jawa 42 FJ 350 features new looks and a larger engine. Prices start at ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and delivery will begin on October 2. The new 42 FJ 350 differs from the newly upgraded Jawa 42 in terms of design and mechanicals, with the former using the Jawa 350’s new 334 cc engine.
Jawa 42 FJ 350 Features
Compared to the standard 42, the Jawa 42 FJ 350 has a more aggressive design. The teardrop petrol tank stands out due to the bold ‘Jawa’ lettering on it. The handlebar position and seat design are new, while the side panels and fenders remain unchanged from the standard model.
The new 42 FJ 350 has an LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument console, dual-channel ABS and an assist and slipper clutch.
The 42 FJ 350 receives the updated 334 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Jawa 350. The new engine witnessed significant improvements in NVH and performance. It also features a better thermal management unit than the previous model. The engine produces 22 bhp and 28 Nm of maximum torque when combined with a 6-speed gearbox.
