In today’s trading session, the energy sector led the decline among Nifty stocks, with ONGC and BPCL showing significant drops. ONGC topped the list of losers, with its stock price falling to ₹322.20, down 1.23% from its previous close. The stock moved between ₹321.65 and ₹328.00 during the day. BPCL also saw a decline, with its stock price at ₹355.40, down 0.85%.

The IT sector also faced pressure, with industry giants Infosys and HCL Tech among the top losers. Infosys saw its stock price fall to ₹1,941.25, a decrease of 1.18%. The stock touched a high of ₹1,967.00 and a low of ₹1,936.45 during the session. HCL Tech’s stock price dropped to ₹1,790.45, down 0.90%.

Bajaj Finance, a major player in the financial sector, also experienced a significant decline. Its stock price fell to ₹7,353.80, down 1.16%, after touching a daily high of ₹7,460.00.

Other notable losers included JSW Steel and Adani Ports, both down by about 1%. JSW Steel’s stock price stood at ₹930.95, while Adani Ports traded at ₹1,479.55.

Eicher Motors, known for its Royal Enfield motorcycles, saw its stock price decrease to ₹4,865.80, down 0.94%. NTPC and IndusInd Bank rounded out the list of top losers, with their stock prices falling by 0.88% and 0.85% respectively.
