With the introduction of the Mahindra Thar Roxx, it is unsurprising that the three-door Thar is now discounted. Additionally, dealerships will be tempting customers with even bigger discounts as the festive season approaches.
Maximum discounts on almost all Mahindra Thar 3-door models are up to Rs 1.5 lakh; the lowest reduction is Rs 1.36 lakh on the entry-level AX OPT 2WD, which only comes in diesel manual transmission.
The Thar comes with three different engine options: a 1.5-litre diesel with 118 horsepower paired to a manual transmission, a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with 152 horsepower and a 2.2-litre diesel with 132 horsepower, both with the option of a manual or automatic gearbox, with optional 4×4 technology.
The Thar is now priced between Rs 11.35 lakh and Rs 17.60 lakh. The pricing of the newly released 3-door and 5-door Thar Roxx models is quite similar, with the larger SUV costing between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh.
