The new Kia Carnival goes on sale on October 3. Ahead of the official pricing announcement, a few Kia dealers have begun taking unofficial bookings for the premium MPV. The Carnival will be offered as a full import at first, with local assembly likely to start a bit later.
Considering that Kia has not yet announced the official start of bookings, dealers have stated that bookings are currently being processed at their level. Most dealerships have set a booking amount of Rs 1 lakh, which is fully refundable, as reported by Autocar India. Furthermore, the portal reported that there will only be one fully equipped variant of the Carnival when it launches. There will be two or three exterior colour options for paint, with white and black being the most likely choices.
In India, prices for the fully imported Carnival are anticipated to begin at roughly Rs 50 lakh. It won’t have any direct competitors at this price range because the Toyota Vellfire starts at Rs 1.22 crore (ex-showroom) and the Innova Hycross tops out at about Rs 30 lakh.
