Anupamaa show’s negative character Vanraj aka Sudhanshu Pandey has been known for his exceptional acting skills. However, now he won’t be a part of the show anymore. Yes, you read it right. The actor revealed on his Instagram that he has left the show.
According to reports, the makers have approached a new actor for Vanraj’s role. The show is in talks with Pankit Thakker and it seems like he has passed a screen test for the role. The reports also suggests that the makers are impressed by his audition and are considering casting him for Vanraj’s role. However, there’s no confirmation to it as of yet.
Pankit Thakker is known for his roles in shoes such as Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Tara from Satara and Dill Mill Gayye.
Sudhanshu Pandey revealed about his departure from the show on the 28th of August. The actor took to his Instagram Live and stated that the Raksha Bandhan episode was his last appearance in the serial. He has worked in Anupamaa for four years. However, the actor bid farewell to the show recently. Also, there have been rumours that he has signed another show.
The actor’s sudden exit from the show has causes a stir on the internet. According to reports, Sudhanshu had a tiff with the show’s producer Rajan Shahi. He was being asked to leave due to his tantrums and politics. After Sudhanshu’s leave from the show, he even unfollowed Rupali Ganguly and Rajan Shahi from his following list.
