Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has sustained a new injury during the game against Brighton last Saturday. The 25-year-old was taken out by manager Erik ten Hag after showing signs of discomfort while running.
According to reports, Mount experienced some inconvenience on the field, prompting the decision to substitute him. It was later confirmed that the injury was a minor muscle issue. Despite the initial scare, the injury is not considered serious, but Mount will be sidelined for a few weeks to recover.
This setback is a blow for both the player and the team, as Mount has been an integral part of United’s midfield since his transfer from Chelsea earlier this year.
