JSW MG Motor India is getting set to introduce the Windsor EV, its upcoming premium product, to the Indian market. Bookings for the MG Windsor EV began unofficially at select dealerships ahead of its scheduled launch on September 11. The forthcoming MG Windsor EV is just a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV, which was first seen at the Indonesia Auto Show a few months ago.
MG Windsor EV features
The MG Windsor EV’s exterior features include an integrated rear spoiler, stylish alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, a front fender-mounted charging socket and stacked LED headlights.
The manufacturer has previously hinted at the wide range of features inside the MG Windsor EV’s interior. This electric car’s massive 15.6-inch touchscreen entertainment system has wireless smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which will be one of the main attractions inside the cabin.
The MG Windsor EV’s interior will also have a fully digital instrument panel, automated temperature control, ambient lighting, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and airline-type back seats that can recline to a 135-degree angle to create a lounge-like feel.
The powertrain specifics for the India-bound MG Windsor EV have not yet been announced. Nonetheless, there are two different battery pack options for this electric car on the global market: a 37.9 kWh battery pack and a 50.6 kWh battery pack. The vehicle can go 460 kilometres at its maximum driving range on a single charge.
