UEFA Champions League 2024/25 draw is set to be taken place tonight as 4 pots are already out. There are a total of 36 teams included in this year’s Champions League as decided last season. Earlier, it used to be 32 teams playing in the league but now the UEFA has decided to improve the number of teams for some extra spice in the league.
The four pots for the draw have already been determined, with each pot consisting of teams based on their UEFA club coefficients and domestic league positions. Pot 1 includes the champions of the top European leagues and the reigning Champions League and Europa League winners. Pots 2, 3, and 4 are filled with a mix of teams based on their rankings and performances in European competitions.
The expanded format means more teams from across Europe will get the chance to compete on the biggest stage, bringing fresh matchups and storylines.
