Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), a government undertaking of Uttar Pradesh. The MoU, formalized on August 21, 2024, in New Delhi, marks the beginning of a collaboration aimed at supporting the development of infrastructure along the Yamuna Expressway.
Under this agreement, HUDCO will provide long-term financial assistance in the form of loans for various projects undertaken by YEIDA on both sides of the Yamuna Expressway.
This financial support is intended to boost the development of key infrastructure projects, which are crucial for the growth and modernization of the region.
In addition to financial assistance, HUDCO will extend a wide range of consultancy services. These services will cover all stages of project management, from conceptualization and design to execution and commissioning. This comprehensive approach ensures that the projects are well-planned and efficiently executed, aligning with the broader goals of regional development.
The MoU is a collaboration to extend long-term financial assistance in terms of loan towards various projects on both sides of Yamuna Expressway undertaken by YEIDA, to undertake comprehensive range of Fee-based Consultancy services from concept to commissioning in identified sectors and Project Management Consultancy Services from project conceptualisation to completion, at mutually decided terms – company said in exchange filing
The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, and Dr. Arun Vir Singh, Chief Executive Officer of YEIDA. The signing ceremony, held in New Delhi, was attended by senior officials from both HUDCO and YEIDA, reflecting the importance of this partnership.
