The MG Cloud EV is in the final lap for its official India during the festive season. On Friday, JSW MG Motor India released a teaser highlighting the promise of sedan-like comfort and SUV-like space in the Cloud EV, MG’s third electric vehicle in the nation following the ZS EV and Comet EV.

The MG Cloud EV is available worldwide under the Wuling brand and has already been shown across the world.

It is anticipated that the MG Cloud EV will compete with vehicles like the Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Nexon EV. Although the Cloud EV is classified as a crossover utility vehicle, or CUV, the other two variants are SUVs. MG’s latest teaser promises the best of both body shapes for the Cloud EV.

The Cloud EV, which will probably cost less than Rs 20 lakh, will sit below the ZS EV in the JSW MG Motor India product lineup. Nonetheless, it is expected to be highly capable, with the international-spec vehicle having a 50.6 kWh battery and a claimed range of 460 kilometres on a single charge. With a DC fast charger, the battery itself can be charged from 30% to 100% in under 30 minutes.
