João Félix is currently back in Madrid, training alone with support from Atlético Madrid staff. The player is set to leave Atlético Madrid, as the club has no plans to retain him and Félix is also eager to move on.

Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, is the leading contender for Félix’s signature. Emery is keen to add the Portuguese attacker to his squad, potentially replacing the recently departed Moussa Diaby. However, Villa is looking to negotiate a lower cost for the deal.
The future of Félix remains uncertain. While a return to Barcelona has been ruled out, the possibility of a third loan move, following stints at Chelsea and Barcelona, is still on the table. Atlético Madrid hopes to secure a permanent transfer to fund further summer acquisitions.
