Al Ittihad has reportedly made it clear that N’Golo Kante is not for sale this summer, despite interest from West Ham United. The Saudi club rejected West Ham’s verbal offer of around £15 million on July 18.

West Ham remains keen on the 33-year-old midfielder, but Al Ittihad values Kante highly and would only consider offers above £25 million. The club and the Saudi Pro League view Kante as a key figure for both the immediate and long term.
Kante is happy at Al Ittihad and will join their training camp for the new season after a break following Euro 2024. He joined Al Ittihad from Chelsea last summer, ending a seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge, and scored four goals in 46 appearances in the 2023-24 season.
Kante also impressed for France at this summer’s European Championship, starting all six of their games and helping them reach the semi-finals, where they lost to Spain.
