Reliance Industries’ telecom and internet arm Reliance Jio today announced its Q1 results. The company’s net profit for the April-June quarter came in at Rs 5,445 crore against Rs 5,337 crore in the previous quarter. This is a jump of 2% on a sequential basis in the net profit for Reliance Jio. The company’s revenue surged to Rs 26,478 crore from Rs 25,959 crore.
Reliance Jio’s Q1 EBITDA stood at Rs 13,920 crore, a jump of 2.5% against Rs 13,612 crore posted in the previous quarter. The margin for the company however expanded just 20 bps to 52.6% from 52.4% in the previous quarter (Q4FY24).
On a year-on-year basis, the company’s net profit has grown from Rs 4,863 crore to Rs 5,445 crore. Revenue for the company grew from Rs 24,042 crore in Q1FY24 to Rs 26,478 crore in Q1FY25.
