Ducati has unveiled the new Panigale V2 Superquadro final edition globally, marking the end of the renowned Superquadro twin-cylinder engine. The motor is based on 90-degree V2 engines with desmodromic four valve per cylinder distribution, which were developed more than thirty years ago. Ducati claims that the Superquadro engine in the final edition is the most advanced twin-cylinder unit ever developed by the Italian company and that the limited edition motorbike would be limited to only 555 units globally.
Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition features
The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition features a 955 cc Superquadro engine that maintains a good balance between road and track. The motor produces 153 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm of maximum torque at 9,000 rpm.
The suspension configuration consists of 43 mm Ohlins USD front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 rear monoshock. The bike has Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres mounted on 17-inch wheels. Brembo monobloc M4.32 callipers, which have 320 mm front discs and a 245 mm single disc with a single Brembo callper at the back, provide excellent braking performance.
With sports grips, the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition is available in a single-seater variant. The dashboard animation at key-on, as well as the contact key, add to the bike’s unique style.
Ducati also offers customers the option of making the bike track-ready by removing the license plate and mirrors, as well as the billet aluminium racing tank cap, which will be provided with the bike. The Panigale V2 already includes a GPS module for DDA data acquisition.
