Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of the two-day conclave organised by the Ministery of education, addressed the conclave on ‘School Education in 21st Century’ under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 a through video conferencing.
“National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is the result of ceaseless hard work of various stakeholders done over the last 4-5 years. Still, the work is not complete. It’s just the beginning. the road ahead is to ensure its effective implementation,” he said in his address.
He also added that the NEP 2020 is a way to fulfil the new aspirations and new hopes of our new India and that in order to implement it effectively across the country, everyone should collectively work for it.
In a series of Tweets, he mentioned the benefits of NEP 2020 and also explained its vision for creating ‘New Age Learning’, by incorporating various skills and developing scientific Temperament and mathematical thinking.

The conclave is organised as part of ‘Shiksha Parv’‘ which is being celebrated from September 8-25 to felicitate teachers and take the New Education Policy forward.
