A new DesertX model that is perfect for adventure has been unveiled by Ducati. The 2025 Ducati DesertX Discovery is a dual-purpose motorbike that is an upgrade above the base model. The bike, which comes in an exhilarating black and Ducati red livery, is the newest model in the collection, after the more off-road-oriented DesertX Rally.

The Ducati DesertX Discovery gets extra protection in the form of reinforced hand guards and engine protection plates that cover the water pump, radiator grill and reinforced sump guard. The brand will also include heated grips as standard equipment, as well as a wider windshield and center stand, to make maintenance and luggage loading easier for riders.

To handle all of this and enhance the bike’s capabilities, it has a fully adjustable Kayaba suspension for preload, rebound and compression. The front end includes an upside-down fork with 230 mm travel and a rear monoshock with 220 mm travel. It features a 21-inch spoke wheel in the front and an 18-inch one in the back.

The Ducati DesertX Discovery is powered by a 937 cc, liquid-cooled Testastretta V-twin engine that delivers 110 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed transmission with an up-and-down quick-shifter.
