The Boston Red Sox may have stumbled out of the gates this season, but they’ve been on a tear lately, climbing to six games above .500 with about a month to go before the MLB trade deadline.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora is certainly impressed with his squad’s recent performance. “We went from a roster that had some question marks early on in the season, and now it feels like it’s one of the best rosters position-player wise that we’ve had in a while,” Cora said this week (via MassLive). “From one to 13, we’re not afraid to play them. We’re in a good spot right now.”

Boston has had to navigate a slew of injuries, but as players have returned to health, their offense has really started to click. If they maintain this momentum, a playoff berth looks promising. However, there’s still plenty of baseball left to play, and anything can happen in the weeks ahead.
