TVS Motor Company has announced a recall of their iQube electric scooter. According to the homegrown manufacturer, the scooter is being recalled for a “proactive inspection.” A recall has been issued for the units produced between July 10, 2023, to September 9, 2023.
To make sure the vehicle maintains a decent ride quality over extended usage, the company will contact consumers and inspect the bridge tube of the units. If rectification is required, the company will not charge anything.
Three new models of TVS iQube have recently been added to the lineup. A new option for a 2.2 kWh battery pack costs ₹94,999 ex-showroom. Next up is the iQube ST, which comes with two different battery pack options: a 5.1 kWh battery and a 3.4 kWh battery. They cost ₹1.55 lakh and ₹1.83 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom.
The iQube ST comes with a 7-inch colour TFT touchscreen display, TPMS, connected features and 32 litres of boot space.
