As leading exit polls suggest a significant victory for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to hold seven meetings on Sunday (June 2) to focus on key issues, according to government sources. One of the primary discussions will be a detailed review of the new government’s 100-day agenda, following the upcoming Lok Sabha results, which will be declared on June 4.

The exit polls aired on June 1 indicated a substantial win for the NDA, suggesting PM Modi would secure a third consecutive term. In light of this, Modi will oversee meetings to address the aftermath of Cyclone Remal, particularly its impact on the northeast region. He will also review the country’s heatwave situation and discuss large-scale preparations for World Environment Day on June 5.

Additionally, the Prime Minister has directed his Council of Ministers to prioritize key programs and initiatives for the initial 100 days in office. Before the Lok Sabha elections commenced, Modi had initiated the process for various government ministries to draft a 100-day agenda for the new administration.

Exit polls have predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance would form the government, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi would become PM for a third time. The INDIA bloc is likely to cross the three-digit figure in the Lok Sabha elections. The ABP-C Voter has forecast 353-383 seats for the BJP-led alliance and 152-182 seats for the opposition INDIA bloc. Today’s Chanakya predicted a much higher tally for the BJP and its alliance than the 2019 polls, giving 335 seats to the BJP and 400 to the NDA, with a margin of 15 seats either way.
