Maruti Suzuki is prepared to debut the latest Swift model in India. It is to be mentioned that the model, which is in its third generation, is one of the brand’s most popular models in the Indian market. In addition to giving a discount of up to 38,000 on the outgoing model of the car, the company is set to introduce the fourth generation version on May 9. The Maruti Suzuki Swift is sold through the brand’s Arena dealerships and gets maximum benefits of up to Rs 38,100 for automatic models. On the other side, the OEM is providing a discount of up to Rs 33,100 on the manual models of the car. Meanwhile, CNG-powered models receive discounts of up to Rs 18,100. Currently, the hatchback starts at Rs 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 9.14 lakh.

Swift’s current pricing of Rs 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom) is effective following a price hike last month. The brand boosted the hatchback’s price by up to Rs 39,000, depending on the version. Before the change, the vehicle’s price range began at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Maruti Suzuki Swift’s outgoing version is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 88 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The model’s transmission options are a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. In the meanwhile, the car’s CNG-powered model produces 98.5 Nm and 75 bhp. It only comes with a five-speed manual transmission.
