Hyundai’s next major release of the year will be the Alcazar facelift, following the updated Creta. The SUV has previously been spotted testing on Indian roads and while Autocar India reported that its launch was scheduled for mid-2024, Autocar India now reports that the launch has been delayed by a few months, with the Alcazar facelift now likely to arrive in September-October 2024.

The new Alcazar will be modified to match the new Creta. A split headlight design is expected, as well as a completely modified front grille and bumper. The tailgate will also be modified, with a wraparound style and connected taillights positioned horizontally. The Alcazar had small visual changes to the pre-facelift Creta, thus it remains to be seen how much the new model differs from the new Creta.

On the interior, expect a new dashboard from the Creta facelift to be carried over to the upgraded Alcazar, which may include the new connected-screen setup. As with previous models, the Alcazar will be available in both six- and seven-seat configurations. The most significant change to the equipment list will be the addition of the ADAS suite from the upgraded Creta.
