Bajaj Auto is scheduled to unveil the world’s first CNG motorbike on June 18, 2024. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, revealed the development during the unveiling of the new Pulsar NS400Z. The CNG motorbike will be the first of its kind in the world, promising to provide a more affordable commuting choice for the masses.
The new Bajaj CNG motorbike has been spotted on many occasions. The test motorcycles had a l bulky fuel tank, indicating a dual-fuel system. The future product will be a commuter, most likely in the 100-125 cc range. The test motorcycles were equipped with telescopic front forks, a monoshock in the back, and disc and drum brakes. To keep up with safety standards, the bike may include single-channel ABS or Combi-braking.
The name of the new CNG bike is yet unknown. However, Bajaj lately trademarked the Bruzer name, which might become the official name for the motorbike.
The manufacturer recently introduced its latest Pulsar to the Indian market. The Pulsar NS400Z costs ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). It is important to keep in mind that this is an introductory pricing. Bookings are open for a token amount of ₹5,000, with deliveries beginning in June.
