The Sandman is not only one of the most anticipated series, but is also one of the most secretive ones. In fact, since the initial renewal plus the official pictures that filming had restarted, everything has been kept under the wraps.
Now, a new update regarding the casting of an important character has been revealed. It is Loki, who is considered to be one of the most anticipated character in The Sandman.
As per the reports by Redanian Intelligence, Freddie Fox has been roped in for the role of Loki in season 2 of The Sandman. Loki is among the many new roles that have been uncovered to be a part of the upcoming season.
The actor is known for being featured in Slow Horses, Dr. Who, and The Gentlemen on Netflix. He is also set to appear in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, however, his most anticipated role has been in House of the Dragon season 2, playing the role of Ser Gwayne Hightower.
While majority of the details are not yet revealed, it is expected that Loki will feature alongside Odin, Anubis, Thor, and other deities in episodes titled ‘Seasons of Mists’ and ‘The Ruler of Hell’.
