Storm Reid became the first cast member of Euphoria to speak about the delay of season 3 of the hit HBO series.
“I would hope the viewers, the audience will be able to finish the show,” said the actress in an interview to Variety, at the opening of USC’s School of Dramatic Arts’ Drama Center in Los Angeles. “I think we should handle the show with care. We’ve put our hearts and soul into it.”
Upon being asked, is she was taken aback by the news of the series being delayed, the actress, who plays the role of Gia, said, “yes and no.” She added that despite of being a little disappointed, she is not surprised. Further explaining, Storm shared that the cast would go into shooting tomorrow, but the logistics are yet to be figured.
The actress also emphasized on the show’s authenticity of representing the real world, with portrayal of addiction and mental health concerns. “I am sure we will continue to be authentic and represent the real world.”
