Netflix is all set to bring back Bridgerton for its season 3, which will be focusing on the long-smimering romance between Colin, played by Luke Newton, and Penelope, played by Nicola Coughlan.

The streaming giant has recently released a new teaser, which despite of being short and has no dialogues, speaks a ton. It shows Penelope standing alone in front of a mirror, wearing a pleasant green colored dress, rather than an aggressive yellow colored dress, which were forced upon her by her mother. She was shortly joined by Colin, and the two share a moment of feather-light touches and significant looks, which are sure to get hearts of every Polin fan racing.

When will Bridgerton season 3 release?

It has been announced that season 3 of Bridgerton will be releasing in two parts. While the first four episodes will premiers on Netflix on May 16, the second installment will be dropped on June 13.

It is widely evident that season 3 of Bridgerton will be focusing on the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. The fans are aware of the wedding season, which struck the town annually, the recently released teaser surely raised some questions such as the importance of mirror.

Mirrors are something of a motif for the latest season, featuring prominently in the poster, and also serving a larger thematic purpose: honesty, reflection, self-perception. That’s all well and good, of course, but it’s something we saw in Julia Quinn’s novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, that has the fans particularly excited. It must also be noted that in an intimate moment in the book, Colin mentions the possibility of having a romantic moment with Penelope in front of a mirror.

Whom of the cast members will be returning for Bridgerton season 3?

Apart from the starring couple, the upcoming season of British drama will feature cast members from the previous seasons, including  the most notably season 2’s central couple – Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate Bridgerton. Also returning for house Bridgerton are Claudia Jesse as Eloise, Luke Thompson as Benedict, and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet. Gold Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Polly Walker as Lady Featherington, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown. The season will also feature Hannad Dodd as Francesca Bridgerton, replacing Ruby Stokes.
