Robert Downey Jr. checkedin frequently with Jeremy Renner after the latter’s snowplow accident in 2023.
In an interview with People, the actor joked that the video calls from RDJ felt “like we were dating or something.”
“He’s like, ‘Dude, the most important thing is you look good. I don’t care how you feel, as long as you look good that’s all that matters,” recalled Renner.
The Hawkeye actor also shared that fellow Marvel co-star and his wife are big fans of Mayor of Kingstown, so he wanted him to get better, so he could continue working on the program.
The actor recalled that RDJ had asked him to get better do Mayor of Kingstown, since he was really eager to see what happens.
