Mel B, one of the Spice Girls and a former host on America’s Got Talent, will narrate her first TV series. Sky Kids said Tuesday that Scary Spice will be the voice behind the new animated children’s series called Happy Town.
The show follows the problem-solving adventures of an adorable hedgehog and ladybird best friend duo, Pep and Tabitha, in a charming and unique community. The network said that the lighting on town depends on the townfolks’ glee, so whenever the light dims out, the duo gets on their mission to help each other and also inspire the townfolks to help one another, in order to bring back the shining light.
“This is a huge moment for me to be the voice of Happy Town for Sky Kids – my first time ever as a narrator,” said Mel B. She added that she has been looking for years to get into any of the children show, since she is also a mother of three children. She believes that the kids learn a lot through colorful and creative storytelling.
