Yami Gautam is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Article 370. A few days back, the trailer of the movie was released which showcased the events that followed to the abolishment of Article 370 in Kashmir. On Tuesday, PM Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Jammu, wherein he talked about the upcoming film.

PM Modi said that “it will help people in getting the right information.” Article 370, which was revoked by the central government on the 5th of August. The article which gave a special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished by the Modi government in 2019.

Yami Gautam will be playing a titular role in the movie. She plays the character of NIA agent Zooni Haskar in the movie. Recently, Yami shared a clip from PM Modi’s recent rally in Jammu and expressed gratitude. She captioned the image by writing, “It is an absolute honour to watch PM @narendramodi

Ji talk about #Article370Movie. My team and I really hope that we all exceed your expectations in bringing this incredible story to the screen!”

While addressing the rally, PM said “I have heard that a movie on Article 370 is coming up this week. I feel that you will be praised all over the India.” He added further, “I don’t know how the film is but I heard about it on TV that a film is coming up on Article 370. It will help people get the right information.”

Article 370 is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale. The film stars Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Kiran Karmarkar, Arun Govil Ashwini Koul Raj Arjun, and Sumit Kaul among many others. The movie is produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. It is slated to be released on the 23rd of February.
