Robert Irwin has called it quits with Rorie Buckey after dating for two years.
Robert, who is the son of late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, made the announcement in a joint statement with her former girlfriend, 19, on her Instagram Story.
“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,” the statement read.
Further ahead, Robert and Rorie emphasized that they would not be commenting anymore on the nature of their breakup and would rather really appreciate their followers’ “respect” and requests for privacy.
While the duo were rumored to be dating since 2022, they went Instagram official in August 2023.
The former couple, who made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Sydney premier of Mission: Impossible 7 in July 2023, navigated through long distance relationship as Robert lived in Queensland, Australia, while Rorie resided in Perth.
