Somi Kohli, the owner of Beat All Sports (BAS), a sports manufacturing company, revealed in an interview that former India captain MS Dhoni did not charge any fee to use the BAS logo bat during the 2019 World Cup. Kohli expressed gratitude towards Dhoni, stating that the cricket icon sponsored his first kit as a way of saying thanks to BAS.

As Dhoni nears the end of his cricket career, he continues to demonstrate appreciation for those who supported him. During his final game for India in the 2019 World Cup, he sported stickers of SS and BAS, his first two major sponsors.

Kohli shared, “Dhoni didn’t ask for a single penny for using BAS sticker during 2019 WC – I requested him a lot, even his parents, friends, wife urged him to take some money but he told it’s a tribute as I helped him in his initial days.”
