Just a few days after season 3 premiered on ABC, the network has announced that the series will be returning for its fourth run. The news were officially confirmed by William Stanford Davis, who plays the role of school janitor Mr. Johnson. He broke the news at the ABC’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s winter 2024 press tour.

When will Abbott Elementary Season 4 release?

Since its just been days since the season 3 dropped on the OTT platform, it is obvious that the release date of the upcoming season is not yet confirmed. However, taking into consideration the release dates of previous seasons, season 4 is expected to have a delayed release similar to current season 3.

While the first and second season premiered in fall, the third season was delayed due to the writer’s strike at the Hollywood. We can expect the same fate for the yet to release fourth season.
