Jupiter Wagons experienced a notable surge of 3.70%, reaching ₹355.50, following the company’s successful bid for a substantial ₹100 crore contract from a leading automobile manufacturer. The firm has been entrusted with the manufacturing and supply of four rakes of double-decker automobile carrier wagons.
The company announced its significant achievement, stating, “We have received a substantial contract from one of the leading automobile manufacturers for the manufacturing and supply of four rakes of double-decker automobile carrier wagons worth around ₹100 crore.”
These innovative double-decker automobile carrier wagons, towering in size, are designed to accommodate SUV editions on both the bottom and top deck. They boast advanced technologies, including articulated bogies and reduced idling time, enhancing efficiency, particularly in the case of wagon substitution due to maintenance issues.
A groundbreaking feature is their compatibility with the maximum moving dimensions, fitting seamlessly into the dedicated freight corridor (DFC) while also aligning with a significant portion of the national railway network, a first-of-its-kind introduction to the Indian Railways.
