Kings XI Punjab was the first IPLfranchise to land in UAE ahead of the IPL 2020. The 13th season of the league is all set to begin next month on 19th September.
the teams were supposed to quarantine for a six-day period and return three negative COVID-19 tests before they could get together and train as a team.
The team has fulfilled all the requirements put in place by the local authorities and BCCI and began training on Wednesday night.KL Rahul, the newly appointed captain of the side was also present at the net session at the ICC Academy. In a video posted by the official Twitter account of the franchise, the skipper spoke about the training session. He spoke about how the conditions were pretty hot and that he hopes that it gets better over the days.

The skipper also mentioned that he would have liked batting in a cooler temperature but being on the field after so long with the team is itself makes him very happy.
The official schedule of the Indian Premier League 2020 is stilt be announced by the BCCI. The final will be played on 10th November and the league will last for almost two months making it the longest edition of the tournament.
