In a significant development on Wednesday, Delhi Police apprehended Mrinank Singh, a fraudster who had cunningly posed as a cricket player for Haryana, defrauding numerous individuals of substantial amounts of money over the past years.
The arrest took place at the Taj Hotel in the national capital, bringing an end to Singh’s elaborate charade. The accused employed a series of false identities, claiming to be an IPS Officer from Karnataka, a Ranji cricketer, and even asserting his fictitious participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Mumbai Indians, all as part of his deceptive schemes.
